Electronics for audio, from signal to power.
We design amplification, signal-conditioning and processing circuits, from precision analog stages to Class D power stages, with meticulous attention to noise, efficiency and reliability.
From a fraction of a watt to multi-kilowatt systems
Audio amplification spans a very wide range of applications: from battery-powered mobile devices, where the signal doesn't exceed a fraction of a watt, to multichannel systems with several thousand watts of output.
The analog Class AB amplifier has reached a very high degree of sound quality, but suffers from limited energy efficiency. Class D switching technology is now mature and delivers much higher efficiency — needed in higher-power applications — with sound quality only slightly below the analog alternative.

Passive crossover networks
We design and build custom crossover networks for loudspeakers, tailored to the client's needs.
- Two- or three-way crossover networks
- Audio power up to 1500W
- Linkwitz-Riley and Butterworth topologies
Small signals, utmost precision
Analog processing of very small signals (down to the nanovolt) requires uncommon expertise and sensitivity, which our hardware design team has built over the years. Typical applications include:
- Low-noise signal conditioning and preamplification
- Mixing stages (audio mixers)
- Analog filters and equalizers
- Microphone preamplifiers
- VCAs, compressors and limiters
- Low-noise power supply systems
